Types of handles

Position Determination of Open-mounted Handle

1. Handle is generally divided into horizontal and vertical installation, regardless of horizontal or vertical installation, it must be unified.

2. The shape and orientation of the handle should be unified.

3. The drawer panel, the handles of the upper and lower doors shall be installed horizontally.

4. The handle of upper cabinet door panel is installed below the door panel, and the handle of lower cabinet door panel is installed above the door panel.

5. The installation position of the handle of the door panel of the high (long) cabinet shall be determined through negotiation according to the height of the owner, and it must not be decided blindly.

6. The handles of drawer panel, down-turning door, up-turning door and door panel with door fittings are generally installed in the width center of door panel, and the handles of door panel are generally installed on the side far away from the installation hinge.

7. There are two mounting heights of the handle of the drawer panel, which are installed at the center of the panel height or at a uniform height from the upper edge of the panel.

8. When installing the handle, the distance between the side hole of the handle and the plate edge is generally 45mm.

9. When installing handles for door panels with shapes on the surface (such as solid wood door panels), it is necessary to confirm with the owner, because the handles selected by designers may not be suitable for installation sometimes, and the installed results are not good-looking.

Installation method of invisible handle

The steps are as follows:

1. lock the screw from the hole on the front of the hidden handle

2. Lock the screw from the back and screw it into the nut of the hidden handle in front of the door board

3. For the embedded dark handle, it is necessary to draw the line around the embedded dark handle with a pencil first, and then shave the groove with a trimming machine.

Matching of handle and door panel handle wire

1. drawers or cabinet doors smaller than 50cm shall be provided with single holes.

2.50cm-80cm drawer or cabinet door, handle with 96mm hole distance.

3.80cm-1500cm cabinet door, handle with 128mm hole distance.

4. For cabinet doors larger than 1500cm, handle them with a hole distance of 160 mm.

Also remember to choose the screw length:

Wood board thickness: 18mm, screw length: 22mm

Wood board thickness: 20mm, screw length: 25mm

Wood board thickness: 25mm, screw length: 30mm

Wood board thickness: 30mm, screw length: 35mm

Wood board thickness: 35mm, screw length: 40mm

If it is a screw used in a drawer, it must be lengthened, because the drawer is generally a panel+base plate with a thickness of 36mm, so the screw of 40mm must be selected.

Matters needing attention in handle installation details

1. Before installing the handles, classify and place the handles, assign them against the cabinet doors, and check whether the number of handles is suitable.

2. When the handle is empty, put a board on the back to prevent the back from exploding.

3. Check the drill bit when the handle is empty. If the drill bit is used for a long time, it should be replaced in time.

4. Make sure that the solid wood door panel is more expensive before pulling the handle.
